HAND-PAINTED ORIGINAL!
Why put art on the wall when you can wear it?
With the pure and sweet scent of the beautiful syringa, it's no wonder they have a deep representation of fresh love. In the victorian era, lilacs were known to be a symbol of first love, youthful innocence, and modest and pure emotions. In Greek mythology, Syrinx ("Syringa") was a beautiful nymph who worshipped Artemis (who swore to belong to no man and be whole within herself.) When pursued by the God Pan, Syrinx fled to the forest and asked the river nymphs for assistance. In return, they turned her to Syringa (lilac), from which Pan cut to form the first set of panpipes. For those that can relate, lilac can also represent living independently and feeling whole in oneself.
